10 Steps to Literacy Equity

Pam Allyn will share key innovative best practices for today’s literacy classroom.  With the confluence of technology, the lives kids live today and new ways of thinking about how we use literature and the conversations around them, we have an opportunity to close crucial gaps in equity. You will take a close and powerful look at what matters for kids and teachers, families and community members for every classroom and across districts. Pam will provide a structured, practical framework for strategic planning and implementational tactics in the area of literacy development to transform every student into a lifelong reader, writer and learner.
