Do your students control or consume technology? The ability to create with technology will empower our students to be creative, solve complex problems, and allow them to take advantage of exciting job opportunities in every industry. The Hour of Code is a one-hour coding challenge to give students a fun first introduction to computer science. In this workshop we will learn how to bring the Hour of Code to your classroom or school. We will take away all your fears and show you how Hour of Code can be easy and fun for you and your students. You will learn about classroom tested tools for implementing the Hour of Code, including how to connect your students with real computer scientists in your local area.
