Description: CESA 2, in coordination with the Wisconsin Safe and Healthy School (WISH) Center and DPI, is developing a sustainable support system to increase access to schools wanting to engage in the journey towards learning and capacity building around trauma-informed philosophy and practices. Engagement in this type of development helps to promote the success of all our students within a comprehensive school mental health system.

This state-wide meeting is a DPI and WISH sponsored event connected to the Trauma Sensitive Schools Networking Group. CESA 2 will be able to host this event regionally in which the entire Cohort 5 team attends (up to 6 people and includes principal/administrator). The 7 teams from CESA 2 will be connecting virtually with other TSS teams across the state.

About the Presenter:

Elizabeth Witter Freeman has been supporting CESA 2 schools since 2015. Her areas of specialty include School Systems, School Improvement, Data Analysis, Strategic Planning, RtI/MTSS, and Pupil Service Delivery. Elizabeth practiced as a School Psychologist near Madison, WI after receiving her doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007.
