Fine Arts Educators Professional Day of Learning (Standards and Assessments)

Morning Session

WI DPI Arts Standards & Resources– The arts standards have been under review recently, several adopted and a few in process with drafts available. Educators for art, music, theatre, and dance will be guided through the standards by WI DPI Fine Arts and Creativity Education Consultant, Julie Palkowski. All participants will have an opportunity to navigate their respective standards (or at least a draft), see accompanying resources online, and share ideas for implementation into the classroom.

Afternoon Session
Assessment and Application - Join us for a review of assessment strategies, methods of data collection, and additional application in the fine arts.

Participants should bring a fully charged laptop or tablet.

Cost: $75 CIA members, $150 non-CIA members

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
