The Carnegie STEM Excellence Pathway is a collaborative action planning process developed by the Carnegie Science Museum in Pittsburgh and used in 9,500 schools nationwide. In this three-part series of workshops, your school's team of STEM Champions will work together to create and implement a strategic plan for improving STEM education that is tailored to your unique needs. Your school will be supported along the way with access to ongoing PD, site visits, coaching, and resources.

The intention of Cohort B and the parallel Cohort A is to have district teams participate.  All team members must attend all three Cohort session.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Teams will complete a self-evaluation, identify priorities, and create an action plan for improving STEM education.
  • Teams will share best practices and collaborate with other districts in the cohort.
  • Teams will identify areas of need and learn about available supports.
  • Participants will learn about current trends in STEM education.

These workshops are offered at no cost to those CESA 10 districts participating in LS2 College & Career Readiness, including the districts of Abbotsford, Altoona, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Regis Catholic Schools, and Spencer.  The discount will be automatically applied during registration.

The cost for all other participants is $500 per day.
