The 2-day WMELS training will provide participants with an opportunity to explore and understand early learning expectations put in place by Wisconsin. Participants will use the standards to build a foundation for high-quality care and education for ALL children from birth to the beginning of first grade. Participants will learn how to apply the WMELS Performance Standards in order to:
- Determine what children should know and be able to do
- Plan learning experiences
- Provide supportive learning environments
- Collect data to ensure that all children are learning and making progress
- Connect to IEP 5-Step Process
?NOTE: You must attend both days to receive credit.
AUDIENCE: Early Educators (4K, Childcare, Head Start, ECSE teachers), Administrators—anyone who touches the life of a child
LOCATION: CESA 5, 626 E. Slifer St., Portage
COST: $5 includes light breakfasts, lunches, and materials
