CESA 7 is proud to partner with Code.Org to offer this interactive and powerful training designed to help teachers implement courses for grades K-5.
CS Fundamentals is a computer science curriculum designed for students in grades K-5, made up of six age-appropriate courses. Each course includes unplugged class activities, online puzzles to reinforce CS concepts, and open-ended projects that students can create. By the end of this workshop, you will be prepared to teach the CS Fundamentals course for your grade level (grades K-5) and have a better understanding of the importance of starting computer science education at an early age. Each participant will receive a printed curriculum guide, a certificate of completion, and some Code.org swag.
