FOCUS Training for Evaluators (DPI/Danielson Model Specific)

Teachscape Focus Evaluator Certification Training (EE/Danielson Model)

All evaluators of teachers in districts using the DPI/Danielson Model are required to complete Teachscape Focus Certification, a comprehensive online module and assessment, to support rater reliability and objectivity. Through a collaborative and interactive process, participants will view and discuss the required Danielson video training, in preparation for their individualized proficiency assessments.

Audience: Administrators that have NOT previously passed the Teachscape Focus certification necessary for evaluating teachers in the DPI/Danielson model and Educator Effectiveness Coaches/Teacher Leaders

Please note: The person in the district with User Management (UMS) access in the Teachscape platform must add the new user, assign Focus Observer rights, and indicate a grade span. Then the EE Coordinator must email ts_support@frontlineed.com, including the person's name and email address, with the request, to "activate" the Focus license.  Directions on how to complete those steps can be found here. 

Cost: $225 for CESA 8 - CIA Member School Districts. $450 for all others.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met.
