National Board Certification Candidate Support Workshop Series - Workshop 1

This series of workshops will support candidates through

Components 1, 2, 3, and/or 4 of the National Board Certification process.  

Each workshop presented by a trained Candidate Support Facilitator.

Workshop 1: Getting Started with the NB Process                                        Saturday, 9/28/19, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Participants will learn how to navigate the NB process including forms, manuals, and dates.  Registrants will be guided through the five core propositions and certificate-specific National Board for Professional Teaching standards. Participants will learn strategies to organize the work, standards-unpacking techniques, and the thinking for successful completion of each component.  This workshop also provides time for candidates to connect with other candidates going through the National Board process.

Cost: $100 per session for CESA Member School Districts. $200 per session for all others

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met.
