Joing CESA 10 and our state Fine Arts and Creativity Education consulant for a day of learning! WHO: The AM session will be tailored to the content areas of the arts participants (art & design, dance, music, and theatre). All arts standards areas can be reviewed, respective of the participants’ content focus. The PM session is also for all arts educators. 

9am-11:15am Session WI DPI Arts Standards & Resources– The arts standards have been under review recently. Two have been adopted by the State Superintendent – Music and Theatre. Two others, dance and art & design, are in process. Participants of these areas will be guided through these standards and those with drafts by WI DPI Fine Arts and Creativity Education Consultant, Julie Palkowski. All participants will have an opportunity to navigate standards, see accompanying resources online, and share ideas for implementation into the classroom. Bring your laptop or tablet with you for the session.   Check the content websites to learn more about the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Model Academic Standards.

12:15pm-2pm Arts Assessment and Application - Join us for a review of arts assessment strategies, methods of data collection, and additional application in the arts. Bring your laptop or tablet with you for the session. 

This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts participating in School Improvement (LS1) including Abbotsford, Altoona,  Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, and Spencer.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)

The cost for all other participants will be $500 per workshop.
