The EE Exchange is a Data Retreat Process in which a district team (3-10 people) will analyze data from the Wisconsin Survey of Educator Development, Support and Retention, which is administered to all Wisconsin classroom teachers and school administrators each year.  Districts will participate in the EE Exchange every three years.

Learning Outcomes will include:

  • Analyze local data results of the WI Survey of Educator Development to identify areas of strength and growth.
  • Self-assess the degree to with the district has implemented the EE system.
  • Collaborate around implementation successes and lessons learned to identify root causes of areas for growth.
  • Develop a plan of action related to implementation goals.
Teacher Standards
WES4The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies, including the use of technology to encourage children’s development of critical thinking, problem solving, and performance skills.
WES6The teacher uses effective verbal and nonverbal communication techniques as well as instructional media and technology to foster active inquiry, collaboration, and supportive interaction in the classroom.
Administrator Standards
WAS2The administrator leads by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared by the school community.
WAS3The administrator manages by advocating, nurturing and sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to pupil learning and staff professional growth.
