If you were able to attend the CESA 10 Summer Literacy Institute for specific grade, reading and writing clusters last summer, then this workshop is for you. Please come and share your experiences with workshop model over the past school year.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in the workshop model as a “student.” The facilitators will walk you through reading and writing strategies using various levels of theme based texts to engage and motivate students. In a risk free and collaborative environment, teachers will practice planning and facilitating the workshop model using various levels of theme based texts.  Please join us for this shared planning experience and opportunity for collegial networking.

Learning Outcomes will be:

  • To provide on-going support for prior learning.
  • To allow teachers to collaborate with their peers across districts.

This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts participating in School Improvement (LS1) and Title I Fee for Service including Bloomer, Bruce, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Gilman, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, and Spencer. (Discount will be automatically applied.)
