WISEdash101: Using Data to Action Plan

 

Purpose/Learning Outcomes:

Participants will:

 

* Enhance their own capacity to support educators in the use of state and local data systems and tools

* Increase their own data literacy with Wisconsin data, data systems, processes and tools to apply during data inquiry.

* Experience hands-on practice in current WISEdash functionality, dashboards and tools in the context of meaningful inquiry.

 

Who:

Training is designed for teams to attend to build district/school in-house data literacy capacity.  

 

Recommend team consists of: Administrator(s), Literacy Leader(s), Special Education Staff, General Education Staff

 

Why Attend:

This session will start building the data literacy process for a district team.  The data work will be on-going and embedded into the 19-20 TA Network events. It will support the concept that data review/understanding/literacy/application is an on-going process connected to the continuous improvement work of a district team.

 

Prepare/Bring:

Participants will need to have access to their district’s WISEdash Secure Portal.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
