Strengthen Your PBIS Tier 2 System: Use These Six Intervention Features to Guide Implementation

Intended Audience: Teams consisting of at least two  members

Prerequisite: PBIS tier 2 trained

Successful implementation of PBIS tier 2 can take longer and be more difficult than implementation of tier 1. To do tier 2 well, teams and staff are required to deconstruct old practices, install new practices, change their thinking, all while continuing to teach and support students. This session will support previously-trained school teams seeking to re-establish or strengthen tier 2 implementation. Teams will review implementation strategies and leave with a plan to:

• Review tier 2 interventions (CICO, SAIG, Mentoring Modified CICO) to include all six intervention features
• Provide ongoing training and support to students, staff, and families and obtain their feedback
• Align tier 2 with tier 1 data, systems and practices
• Refine goals and responsibilities of the tier 2 team

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the training date for a refund to be issued. Cancellations for the PBIS Conference must be received 30 days in advance. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. The Wisconsin RtI Centers reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
