Description: This collaborative session is designed for district teams or individuals involved in Social Studies standards rollout. There is a new focus on civic engagement in the revised standards. But what does that mean? Take some time to learn about the new civic engagement movement across the country, in our standards, and what it could mean for your classroom. We will also spend time to reflect on the Year 1 work, see what worked for you and what didn't, and plan for next years' curriculum work!

* Revisit District Standards Rollout Game Plan
* Draft a District Communication Plan
* Equity in Curriculum Work
* Planning for Year 2 Curriculum Work
Each Participant Must Bring:
* Laptop or tablet
Recommended Attendees: Social Studies Teachers, EL & Special Education Teachers, Instructional Leaders, Curriculum Directors, Principals
Cost/Fee: CESA 7 District - $65 and Non-CESA 7 District - $100.00 (Includes Lunch and Materials.)
