Scholastic has partnered with Dr. Karen Mapp to create a comprehensive family-school partnership training that supports educators in engaging families in meaningful partnerships focused on improving student achievement.

Dates:  February 21, 2019, March 5, 2019, and May 21 2019

Location:  CESA 7 - 595 Baeten Road, Green Bay, WI 54304

Time:  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Cost:  $2385.00 per minimum team of five, which includes continental breakfast and lunch on your own.

Non-Member Fee:  $2995.00 per team of 5 or more.

Description:  A series of three full-day interactive workshops that will equip your team with everything they need to implement a comprehensive family and community engagement plan.

SESSION 1Reframing Family Engagement/February 21, 2019

Explore the research that supports the link between family engagement and improved student outcomes.

SESSION 2 – Redesigning Family Engagement Events/March 5, 2019  

Deepen your understanding of how to help families practice effective strategies to support children's learning at home.

SESSION 3 – Engaging Families in Learning Throughout the Year/May 21, 2019

Learn how to design and implement family engagement events aligned with student learning goals.
