Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) The cornerstone of CPI since 1980, this program is considered the global standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program's proven strategies give human service providers and educators the skills to safely respond to various levels of risk behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.
CPI/NVCI training includes a basic course (7.5 hours).
Staff must attend the entire course, no exceptions.
Participants must commit to arriving on time.

Cost: $75 per person, includes official CPI training materials
*Participants should wear comfortable clothing for this training that provides full coverage and allows for ease of movement. It is essential that shoes be flat with closed toes, closed heels, and non-skid soles.
