Coaching has become a buzzword in Education that has shown to have a huge impact on teacher practice, but how do we get the most out of the role of a coach, and the relationship between coach/principal and coach/teacher? Bestselling Author, Diane Sweeney, puts students’ front-and-center in her evidence-based Student-Centered Coaching Approach. She has found that by focusing the coaching goals around data-driven student learning, and not on fixing teachers, we can directly impact instructional practice and student achievement.

Join us for a day of learning that will leave you with practical coaching strategies and resources to be able to take back to your district to impact teachers and students. This session is designed for coaches, teacher leaders, interventionists, principals, and district leaders looking to increase student achievement through the coaching lense.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Participants will learn practical coaching strategies that they can apply to their work in district.
  • Participants will gain new knowledge and ideas from oether participants in similar roles.
  • Participants will use data to drive discussions during meetings.
  • Participants will learn from state and national experts.

This session with a National Speaker is offered at no cost to those districts participating in LS1, including the districts of Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Colby, Cornell, Eleva-Strum, Fall Creek, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)

The cost for all other CESA 10 districts will be $350 per participant, and the cost for all others will be $500 per participant.
