High School Networking

Effective PBIS implementation in high schools leads to improved attendance rates and behavior outcomes (Freeman, J., Si-monsen, B., McCoach, D.B., Sugai, G., Lom-bardi, A., Horner, R. 2015). These sessions are an opportunity for high school practi-tioners to connect with other high schools and share strategies that work. Resources will also be shared that are specifically geared towards implementation within the high school context. At least one high school will be featured each session to pre-sent and discuss a topic of interest.

Objectives

• Identify strategies to adapt PBIS implementation at the high school level
• Discuss current implementation with area practi-tioners from universal/tier 1 and/or secondary/tier 2 teams

Audience
Internal coaches, team members, or other relevant staff. Administrators are also welcome.

Event is FREE (bring your own lunch at 11:30)

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the training date for a refund to be issued. Cancellations for the PBIS Conference must be received 30 days in advance. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. The Wisconsin RtI Centers reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
