10th Annual CESA 5 School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Institute (Both Days - March 5 & 6, 2012)

Note: Registration and fee for this "both days" event does not include the Sunday workshop(s).

Purpose: This is the 10th anniversary of this two-day conference which provides speech-language pathologists (SLPs) hands-on, ready-to-replicate strategies and techniques to benefit the students they serve with speech-language disabilities. The conference also provides an opportunity for SLPs to re-connect with the greater community of school-based SLPs and to facilitate a cross-pollination of service delivery ideas. In addition to distinguished speakers, this conference features many vendor exhibits, early registration on Sunday 4-7pm, a networking reception on Monday 4-5:30pm and many valuable door prizes. Nearly 500 SLPs attended the 2011 conference. Please join us in 2012 to network with your peers and to enjoy the Wisconsin Dells area.

Presenters: Our keynote speaker will be Michael McSheehan, who is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Project Coordinator with the Institute on Disability/ECED at the University of New Hampshire. Other speakers include Alexandra Dunn, M.CI.Sc. (Speech-Language Pathologist from Ontario), Barbara Williams Hodson, PhD, CCC-SLP (from Wichita State University), and Blaise Winter (motivational speaker).

Viterbo Credit: Optional one graduate credit from Viterbo University is available for two-day attendees (add'l $200 for tuition and fees). Please indicate your intention to attend for credit by also registering for the VITERBO course listed on the MyQuickReg event calendar. If you plan to attend for credit, you need to register for two events ... 10th SLP Institute (Both Days) and 10th SLP Institute (VITERBO). This will ensure that you receive the course registration form in February. You will pay $200 to Viterbo when you check-in at the conference.
