Understanding the Wisconsin Standards for Social Studies: Statewide CESA Roll Out

Description:   This collaborative session is designed for district teams or individuals involved in Social Studies standards rollout. There are significant shifts in pedagogy and student expectations with the revised WI Standards for Social Studies. This session will introduce those shifts (formatting, interdisciplinary nature of social studies, comparison to previous standards), provide time to walk through the  unpack/repack process, and learn about the inquiry arc, an essential part of quality social studies teaching and learning. 

*Future WI Social Studies Standards workshops will assume attendees have learned this material*
