Training Description: Get the latest research on bullying AND how to prevent and intervene—in the classroom and in the building. Includes time to experience the DPI curriculum for elementary or middle school students.

Curriculum Information: Participants do not have to purchase the curriculum but it will be the focus of the afternoon session. Bring the DPI curriculum with you if you don’t need to purchase it. Curriculum includes lessons on: Friends who bully, ways to use comebacks that work, role plays for the bystander to be more effective, skills necessary to build a bully-free school, cyberbullying, and meaningful apologies.

Who Should Attend: Elementary and Middle School Educators, Counselors, After School Staff and Curriculum Directors

Registration Fee (includes lunch):

  • ATOD Network Schools: $80/person + $40/curriculum (includes DPI curriculum, Game Show CD & 2 trade books—trade books alone are valued at $32).
  • ATOD Non-Network Schools: $130/person + $40/curriculum (includes DPI curriculum, Game Show CD & 2 trade books—trade books alone are valued at $32). (Marshfield, Mauston, Reedsburg, Stevens Point, Waupaca, Wild Rose, Wisconsin Rapids)

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
