Cyberbullying and Healthy Relationships

Sponsored by the Safe & Drug Free Schools & Communities Department

November 29, 2011 (Tues.)
9:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.
CESA 5, 626 E. Slifer St., Portage
Facilitators: Jess Kaehny, Hope House of Central WI & a Representative from Law Enforcement

Training Description:

This workshop will give students and staff an opportunity to experience a game about healthy relationships as well as the chance to talk with law enforcement about cyberbullying.

Both presenters have gotten good reviews and this will provide a valuable learning experience. As technology becomes part of every thing we do, it is important for students to understand the implications of cyberbullying and how to stop it.

One of the most important developmental tasks of adolescence is developing healthy relationships. Student teams will be able to use this information and provide leadership on these important topics when they return to their district.
