Participants need to bring a device and their copy of Wisconsin Essential Elements.
December 11th: DLM Training, Networking and DPI Updates
Teachers who will be administering the DLM assessment for students (audience).
AM Session:
Focus on completion of REQUIRED training for DLM administration. This is the initial training for test administrators. If you have lapsed one year or more with the administration of the DLM, the initial training is required again to be certified to assess. This training takes 2.5 - 3 hours to complete. It will be done as a group and facilitated by a CESA 8 RSN.
PM Session: 11:30- End of Day -Lunch and Networking Session
This session will include lunch and networking. Iris Jacobson (DPI consultant) will join the group via zoom to review DLM assessment - administration overview, best practices and updates for teachers who severe students with significant disabilities. After that session, DLM resources will be reviewed so that teachers can access tools and teaching strategies aligned with common core essential elements. Overview of DLM modules to support instruction for students.
Teachers - please register and you can join for both the AM/PM session or just the PM session based upon specific needs and training. IF you would like to complete the required yearly MOODLE training (takes about one hour), CESA can delegate a room for a group to gather and do this as a small group. This training is required yearly IF you have taken the initial training and have not lapsed administration of DLM for one or more year. This will not be facilitated - just an opportunity to set time aside to complete the training and then join with lunch and networking. Please email Brenda Jozwiak-Boldig @ bjboldig@cesa8.org to let me know if that is a need.
