This workshop will provide the support and guidance for participants to dig into the 2017-18 accountability report card.  We will discuss what the numbers mean and how to use and message this information. Teams will investigate how recent instruction and organizational changes have impacted student performance.  This workshop provides an opportunity to network with other districts about communication strategies. Bring your data team to maximize the effectiveness of this workshop.

If the report cards are not available in SAFE on October 2nd as anticipated, the workshop will be held on Friday, October 12 instead of October 3rd.

  • Explore the state accountability Report Card 
  • Make meaning of the numbers and ratings 
  • Investigate what lies behind the numbers 
  • Plan for next steps 
  • Network with other districts

Who should attend?

District data and/or curriculum planning teams, which may include curriculum and instruction coordinator, teacher team leaders, curriculum support staff, building administrators or department lead teachers.
 

Registration Fee:  (fee includes materials & lunch)

  • $125 per person or
  • $100 per person for EESSA  Consortium of Support member districts

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
