NWEA – MAP Data Analysis Training

Cost for MAP Training:
$125 per person OR $350 for teams of 3-5 AND $45 per person if a district sends 6 or more

CESA #3 will be offering data analysis training for school districts who have done winter testing with the NWEA-MAP assessment.

 

The training is scheduled for Thursday, January 26th at the CESA #3 building in Fennimore. This training is designed to be a training of the trainers. Districts are asked to send a team of folks who will be trained to go back to the district and work with their teachers on the interpretation and application of their districts’ student data.

The morning session (9:00-12:00) will focus on the basic MAP Reports that are available on-line for all staff after the fall testing window has been closed (Class Rosters, Teacher Reports, Class by RIT, Individual Student Reports, and Dynamic Reports).

The afternoon session (12:45-3:00) will focus on “Ordered Reports” that each district must order ahead of time from NWEA and place into a file that staff can access (pdf format is preferred). These reports are NOT an extra cost to the district. These reports focus on student growth analysis.

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
