CANCELED - Effective Mentor Training Refresher Workshop

Are you an experienced mentor? Are you looking for a refresher training to help you strengthen your mentor/ mentee relationship? Would you like to collaborate with other mentors to see how to best meet the needs of your initial educators? This half-day workshop provides support and training to teacher mentors and includes powerful interactive activities to support mentors with their interactions with initial educators.

Topics include:

• The mentoring process
• Reviewing the stages an initial educator goes through and how you can support him/her
• Effective teaching skills (Danielson Framework for Teaching)
• Supporting your initial educator in a positive way to meet the many demands that are placed on him/her
• Strategies and coaching techniques mentors can use to help move your initial educator forward
• Sharing and networking with other mentors around our region

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be faxed (920-492-5965) or e-mailed to the PERSON LISTED AS THE EVENT CONTACT five (5) working days prior to the date of the event unless other cancellation information is noted in the specific event.
