National Educational Technology Standard for Teachers standard 3 states “Teachers exhibit knowledge, skills, and work processes representative of an innovative professional in a global and digital society.
- iPads can be used to access the internet, read a book, check email and much more
- There are thousands of educational apps that can be downloaded to iPads and iPods
Participants will learn basic navigation and management skills of iPads in the classroom. They will explore some of the apps that can be use in teaching and learning. iPads will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
