  • PD21 Technology Literacy members attend for free up to their membership limit (Belmont, North Crawford)

Writing Standard #6 of the Common Core Standard for Reading, Writing and speaking and Listening states that students will be able to "use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing and to interact and collaborate with others.

  • Google Docs includes word processing, spreadsheets, preseantations, forms and drawings.
  • Google Docs is an easy way for teachers and students to work collaboratively on projects and reports.
  • Google Docs users can share documents and work on the same document at the same time.
  • Google Documents are saved in the "cloud" so they can be accessed anywhere anytime.

During this session you will learn how to create and share documents, create forms that help you to gather information and much more.  All who attend will need a google account, either through a district google domain or an individual account.  We will help those who do not belong to a domain get a free google account prior to the workshop,

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
