The Recertification Training is for any evaluator of teachers that last certified four years ago. Evaluators who were certified less than three years ago may also recertify at this time if they wish.

The Recertification Assessment is a summative assessment. Emphasis is given to scoring accuracy for recertification because this skill is expected to shift more over time than the foundational knowledge of the Effectiveness Project. Although administrators may choose to re-certify on their own, evaluators may choose to attend this one day workshop to prepare for the Recertification assessment and have time during the workshop to complete the recertification process. Additionally, districts can contract for in-district re-certification.

The morning portion of this workshop will serve as a Calibration practice for all participants in addition to preparing participants for the Recertification assessment.

Participants should have an MLP Elevate login and password prior to coming to this workshop if they wish to use the provided time to compete the recertification process. Participants should also bring a set of earbuds or headphones.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel prior to 3 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 3 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been cancelled due to weather conditions.
