"The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has informed us that the acclimation period for the new ESSA regulations is over. DPI will be providing new monitoring guidance in September 2018.  They have ensured us that at least 20 districts will be monitored this year. Sign up for the Title I Monitoring and Support Consortium to be informed and kept up to date on all Title I requirements and regulations."         -- Anne Pagel, Literacy Consultant and Title I Coordinator for CESA 6

The Title I Monitoring and Support Consortium is designed to communicate federal and state legislation, policies, and procedures related to Title I. Consortium participants will be provided with an electronic binder and sample documents outlining their responsibilities for Title I compliance based upon the new WI DPI monitoring guidance. Consortium membership also includes communication throughout the school year, timeline reminders for adding documentation, binder review, and four meetings (two in person, two virtual) to update members on requirements and changes for the current and upcoming school years as a result of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
