***CANCELLED*** Introduction to the Units of Study for Teaching Writing

If you are new to Units of Study for Teaching Writing by Lucy Calkins, you will want to attend this event.  On this day we will explore structures and routines that will help you to implement Units of Study. We will take a deep dive into the materials within your Units of Study kit including: A Guide to the Writing Workshop, If...Then...Curriculum guide, Writing Pathways, and the units.  Inside each unit we will take a closer look at each bend, session, and mini lesson that makes up the unit. 

Audience:  Teachers in grades K-8 who are beginning implementation of the Units of Study for Teaching Writing materials. Participants should bring their Units of Study kit with them and a device.

Registration fee per date: (Includes continental breakfast and lunch.)

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
