The Wisconsin State Performance Plan requires data on parent satisfaction as a requirement of Indicator 8. District teams are invited to attend this interactive training to plan for the administration of the parent survey. Whether your district is undergoing the SPP process in 2011-2012 or in the future, plan NOW to reap the benefits of this dynamic training.

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING:

  • Development of individual district:
  • Plan to increase parent satisfaction and involvement
  • Plan for administration of parent survey
  • Timeline for implementation

Presenters: Martha DeYoung, WSPEI Coordinator; Brenda Yager, Former WSPEI Parent Liaison; Karen Lietzow, Regional Service Network (RSN) Project Director

Registration fee: $20 per team (a team consists of a minimum of 2 team members; teams of 4-6 are encouraged. Suggestions for team members: parents, special education teacher, regular education teacher, SLP, school psychologist, director of special education, principal)

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
