School Safety Initiative - Grant Writing Workshop

CESA 10 is working with dozens of school districts to seek funding through the 2018 School Safety Initiative. Although we are unable to take on any additional clients, we still want to be a resource for schools during this fleeting opportunity. Therefore, we are offering a hands-on workshop for districts seeking help with their grant writing. During this session, participants will:

• Hear from the Department of Justice on grant requirements and timelines
• Learn about qualified primary and advanced security measures
• Have access to facility experts for construction best practices
• Walk through the Egrants process
• Hear real-life funding and justification examples for required grant sections
• Receive a grant template for easy drafting purposes and three hours practical time with grant specialists

While CESA 10 won't be writing the grant for you, attendees will leave with an ample first draft and a clear outline of their remaining needs. This workshop is perfect for any grant writing level.
 

Costs are $100/person. A special discounted rate of $75/person is available for CESA 10 schools. Lunch is included.
