FAMILY SERVICE CREDENTIAL - DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER TRAINING

Audience: 
Any Head Start staff person who work directly with families, e.g. Family Service workers, HS & EHS Teachers, Home Visitors, Child Care Partners, Coordinators

Portage Project Family Certification Training meets the requirements of §1302.91 (e) (7) Family services staff who work directly with families on the family partnership process

 

Training Objectives

  1. Build knowledge, skills & capacities in the FSC content areas
  2. Practice & apply content knowledge through work with families
  3. Enhance understanding & application of content through ongoing networking & dialogue with other FSC participants
  4. Demonstrate competencies through assessment and portfolio activities

Hours: 8:30a - 4:00p 

Cost:  $700 per participant which includes all materials, lunch & breaks

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel prior to 3 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 3 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been cancelled due to weather conditions.
