Designed for first time teachers or teachers that want a refresher in making and loading gels for anaylsis in science or agriculture courses. Competencies of casting trays, micropipipet use, loading gels, purchasing equipment and materials, running 3 labs which include Restriction Enzymes, and PCR.
Learning outcomes include:
- Make gels and load them using a micropippette.
- Ran a DNA restriction enzyme lab successfully.
This workshop is offered at a cost of $50 per participant to those CESA 10 districts participating in LS2. The cost for CESA 10 districts not participating in LS2 will be $175. The cost for all others will be $300 per participant. Invoicing for this event will be updated once all 2018-19 CESA 10 Service Contracts have been received.
