With the adoption of the Wisconsin Standards for Information and Technology Literacy (ITL), there is an opportunity to ensure integration of the content, skills, and technology-rich learning experiences into existing Wisconsin content standards. Come together with your local team to collaborate and create a crosswalk between the ITL and the WI standards. Walk away with a road map that will guide your teachers in creating curriculum units that focus on leveraging technology and information across all content areas, explore technology career pathways, and create new knowledge in the information age.

Moving Day! (Unpacking and Repacking) Day 1 - June 14 

Workshop Learning Objectives:

  • Deeper Understanding of Content Standards
  • Designing a Plan for Effective Instruction and Assessment
  • Rethinking and Redesigning Learning Activities that Promote the 5C’s

Finalizing the Plan: Day 2 - June 15 (optional) is a collaboration/workday.  Teams may attend day 2 and continue work on aligning technology standards to Wisconsin and Common Core Standards.  The goal is for your team to be Future Ready by year 3 as required by WI DPI.

 - Special Education/Title Director  - Special Education Educators
 - Principals  - English Language Learner Educators
 - Technology Director  - Business and Information Educators

 - Library Media Specialists  - Instructional Coaches
 - Core Classroom Educators  

Registration fee (per person): $25 per date for CESA 5 School Districts
(Please be sure to register for each individual date.)


 

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
