You see it in your classrooms every day; the number of children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder has skyrocketed. Students with AD/HD continue to be common in your classroom. The good news is that there is a wealth of new research and practical ideas to make these children more successful and help you feel more confident in dealing with their academic, social, and behavioral challenges. In addition, many regular education teachers have found that the strategies that work well with students with these disorders also benefit all students in their classes.
