In this session, language arts teachers will explore effective teaching practices within the writers' workshop framework. Participants will learn practical teaching strategies, create anchor charts, and explore a variety of resources to use in the classroom around the areas of whole group mini-lessions, small group guided instruction, and independent writing conferences. This session will help teachers structure their reading/language block and incorporate the gradual release framework effectively for student achievement while instilling the love of writing.
