How do you create a true learning partnership between educators and students?  How do you harness student voice, engagement, and efficacy to empower every learner to achieve at higher levels?  Register now for WOW 2018-19!  Your school-based team of 4-12 educators will work closely with nationally recognized education leaders to develop and implement clear action steps that are:  1) tailored to meet your local needs; 2) maximize Educator Effectiveness as a process of continuous improvement; and 3) integrate with your ongoing school or district improvement strategies.

The speaker for this session, Gloria Ladson-Billings, will speak about using culturally relevant pedagogy to help students understand how education is relevant to their future.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Participants will develop their District Educator Effectiveness Plan.
  • Participants will explore how student engagement can lead to empowerment for all students.
  • Participants will learn about culturally relevant pedagogy.
  • Participants will understand how students can find education relevant to their future. 

There is no cost to attend this session.
