Learning the proper way to screen children's eyes for vision problems. The morning training covers aspects of children's vision screening, vision milestones from Birth to preschool age children, an overview of common eye problems found in preschool/school age children, current protocol and best screening tools to use.

Participants will have hands-on practice in using the screening tools.  Certification is valid for 3 years. In the afternoon we will be networking and learning from vision specialists on various topics.

Audience: Teachers, Head Start Professionals, Child Care, School Nurses and anyone interested in learning more about vision screening (no prerequisites needed)

Registration Fee: $35.00

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:

If a workshop has been canceled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. Please make sure all your contact information is correct on myQuickReg.com
