Ashland/Bayfield County Communities on Transition Meeting

The mission of the Community on Transition (Ashland and Bayfield counties) is to aid youth and young adults with disabilities in meeting their future education, training, employment and independent living goals by identifying available resources and opportunities.

A County Community on Transition (CCOT) is a regional community that comes together (networks) regularly to identify issues, barriers, supports & solutions to assisting students with disabilities make a successful transition based on student postsecondary goals related to training or education, employment and independent living. The key to CCOT success is sharing the work, establishing effective communication and new relationships to better work together.

Open to community members with an interest in transition in Ashland or Bayfield counties, special education teachers, guidance counselors, Human Services.  

Purpose of a CCoT:

  1. 1. Improve services and outcomes for youth and families.
  2.  2. Share resources and agency updates. 
  3. 3. Build capacity that leads to change. 
  4. 4. Collect and analyze data to inform action planning. 
  5. 5. Make informed decisions and sustain practice.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:

If a workshop has been canceled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. Please make sure all your contact information is correct on myQuickReg.com
