SEEDS Staff Training

Who should attend?   Teachers, specialists, therapists, and other staff who write portions of student IEPs.  

The SEEDS4Schools staff forms training will assist you in getting your log in to SEEDS4Schools set up to help you use SEEDS4schools the most efficient way by setting defaults and adding contact information to populate on forms so you do not have to be re-entered every time.

In the training, you will create forms and see how data prefills from form to form when created in order. You will see how answering questions hides un-necessary questions and as well as opens up additional questions if need be. You will see how validations help districts with self assessment questions.

SEEDS4Schools is built, maintained and enhanced by special education staff who use it daily. Come learn the in and outs for efficient IEP data management.

You have the option to attend EITHER the morning session from 8:30 am to 12:00pm OR the afternoon session, from 12:30 to 4:00pm.

Both sessions will contain the exact same content, you simply have the option to attend in the morning or the afternoon. So please register for one or the other.

Please bring along a laptop and make sure the wireless is enabled.  Bring along a list of your students on your caseload with disability(ies), related services, dates of meetings, etc. for data clean up.  Also, bring along a list of people that you frequently invite to IEP team meetings.

Lunch will be on your own.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met. CESA 8 makes every effort to accommodate basic dietary restrictions with advance notice, but please plan accordingly.
