Conferring

Have you heard your colleagues talk about conferring?  Do you know what it means and how to use it?  If not, or if you struggle to confer with students, this session is for you.  You will learn the why and how of conferring and walk away with ideas and resources to get started in your classroom.

Close Reading

What is close reading?  In this session we will learn the purpose of close reading and how to use close reading in the elementary classroom.  You will walk away with ideas and resources that will be useful to you and your students.

Participants can take the Reading Strategies Series (3 dates) in sequence or independent of each other - whatever fits your needs.

Grade levels:
The session will focus on reading strategies for students in K-8.

Registration fee per date: (Includes continental breakfast and lunch.)
Please note, you must register and pay separately for each session.
