Description:
College and Career Ready IEPs (CCR IEPs) provide a framework for IEP teams to explore beliefs and attitudes regarding students with IEPs. In this workshop, participants will briefly review the CCR IEP framework and spend the remainder of the workshop with a deeper concentrate on the 5 step process.

Outcomes:

  • Understand how to document achievement of grade-level academic standards and functional expectations to identify the student’s strengths and needs
  • Identify how the student’s disability affects academic achievement and functional performance
  • Learn how to align specially designed instruction, services, supports, and accommodations needed to support the goals and ensure access to the general curriculum
  • Learn how to analyze progress towards goals to evaluate what works and what is needed to close the student’s achievement gaps

Who Should Attend: Districts should attend as teams of at least 4 participants. Teams may include:  Administrators, Teacher Leaders, Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers, District Family Engagement Liaisons

Participants should bring an IEP to review during the workshop.
