POSTPONED: Blended Learning Live! - 712-765

This event is a three-day series: January 30 & 31, and June 27.

Students are now learning both face-to-face and online.  Come learn about the various models of Blended Learning and how to apply it effectively to your district and classroom. This three-day experience will help district teams design, prepare, and implement student-centered learning initiatives for blended-learning models.

Jan 30 - Day 1:  Introduction to Blended Learning
--Learn about and experience blended learning models
--Identify challenges and create goals
--Organize the team

Jan 31 - Day 2:  Building the Plan
--Prepare for “fast pitches” (your plan)
--Build physical and virtual learning spaces
--Plan implementation

Feb 21:  One Hour Check-in Video Conference - Office Hours
March 20:  One Hour Check-in Video Conference - Office Hours
April 24:  One Hour Check-in Video Conference - Office Hours

June 27 - Day 3: Blended Learning Reflect, Adjust, and Plan Again

--Share and celebrate successes and challenges
--Reflect, analyze and adjust learning experiences
--Plan for following year

Who should attend:  
It is essential to have a team (3-6) attend, including at least one senior leader and one teacher at each school that will be participating in implementation: District Administrators, Teaching and Learning folks, Principals, Instructional Coaches, Teacher Teams, Scheduling Admin

Cost: $300 for three days; includes lunch and one copy of Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools by Horn and Staker

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a refund if they cancel prior to 3 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Cancellations must either be made on MyQuickReg or by emailing cancel@cesa2.org. Because of our commitment to the presenter and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 3 working days prior to the event or who do not attend the event, will be billed the full fee. CESA 2 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via phone and email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. 

Inclement Weather Policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 2 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

In-Person Events: Restrictions on our in-person events due to COVID-19 have been lifted. We will be responsive to what's happening within our communities, and guidelines from the CDC and local health agencies for future offerings and will update guidelines when necessary.
