Google Apps for Education – An Overview and Planning for Implementation
Tuesday & Wednesday, July 26 & 27, 2011
Glacier Canyon Lodge (Wilderness Resort), Lake Delton

Google-certified trainers from Grant Wood Area Education Agency, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will provide a hands-on introduction to Google Apps for Education for small teams of 2-3 from CESA 5 districts considering implementation on a district or pilot basis. They will share Iowa’s experiences with implementation – what worked, what didn’t work, and what decisions districts can and should make as they plan for deployment including technical aspects and professional development strategies.

Funding for this two-day training is through Project TILT II EETT ARRA Competitive Grant and offered at no charge for TILT II districts:  Adams-Friendship, Auburndale, Baraboo, Cambria-Friesland, Columbus, Iola-Scandinavia, Marshfield, Mauston, Montello, Necedah, Nekoosa, New LIsbon, Pardeeville, Pittsville, Port Edwards, Portage, Poynette, Princeton, Randolph, Sauk Prairie, Waupaca, Wautoma, Westfield, Wild Rose, Wisconsin Dells, and Wisconsin Rapids School Districts.

Fees for other districts will be $75 per person. Training is limited to 60 participants.
