**Cancelled** Engaging Students in Learning and Assessment

Come learn and participate in strategies to prepare initial and professional educators, mentors, and administrators with the tools necessary to deeply engage students in their own learning, in order to achieve uncommon results both academically and personally in the classroom. The strategies presented are broadly embedded in the teacher practices sought in the Educator Effectiveness programs, are research-based and classroom-proven. Participants will learn the skills necessary to change the central focus of their classroom instruction from what is being taught to what students are learning.

This workshop is designed to be an extension of the WOW series but is open to any educator wanting to add to their toolbox of highly effective and fun strategies!

• Differentiation of Instruction
• Response to Intervention

Cost:  $20 for CESA 5 School Improvement Members, $75 all others

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
