Learn the proper way to screen children’s eyes for vision problems. This training results in a 3 year national certification through Prevent Blindness. Participants will learn about common eye problems, proper screening techniques and technologies, and how to follow up properly. www.preventblindness.org/wi 

The morning Session conducted by Valerie Grimm, Community Health Education Mgr.   The afternoon Session conducted by Kay Glodowski, Vision Outreach Specialist for WI Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired and Beth Tepper, Program Support Teacher, CESA 9.  Kay will provide resources, answer questions and give support information for you to be able to serve children with vision impairments.Beth will discuss the affects of screen time on vision and share current resources.
