Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, Secondary Trauma – While these may be normal responses to the abnormal challenges educators face, they do not have to be typical for your school culture. In this workshop we will teach some simple strategies to combat compassion fatigue and build compassion resiliency. Participants will be introduced to a toolkit designed for increasing compassion resiliency. The Compassion Resiliency Toolkit is a free, flexible, and easy to implement series of interactive learning experiences for school staff and leadership. Participate in many of the toolkit sections at this workshop and learn how to implement it in your school.

Presenters:  Carol Zabel, Western  Region Coordinator Wisconsin Safe and Healthy School (WISH) Center & Sue McKenzie, Director of Rogers In Health
